ACCIO TINY HOUSE
The architectural concept of our competition project seeks answers to the following 4 main parameters:
-The ability to respond flexibly to changing conditions and needs.
-Energy optimization, sustainable and renewable materials, use of energy resources and the capacity to produce some of the energy needed during the construction process and use.
- Being able to carry out activities longed for during pandemic periods.
-Minimalist and useful furniture.
Accio Tiny House is exactly 37 square meters. There are wide openings in the facade and an opening in the bedroom ceiling to allow good sunlight and spaciousness.
Accio Tiny House is not dependent on a single scenario; It has a design that can be used by a single, double or four-person family and at the same time, thanks to the wheels we use, it can provide the user with the comfort of home everywhere without being tied to one place. Being wheeled also makes it easy to carry. In addition, it is a Tiny House suitable for both summer and winter use with its strong insulation and air conditioning equipment.
For us, the meaning of Tiny House life is a smaller, simpler and more sustainable lifestyle. For this purpose, we have designed some sustainable innovations in our home and this home is self-sufficient. We tried to use technology from providing daily energy needs with solar panels, from waste materials to gray water transformation. Again, for the same purpose, the materials we use on the facade are environmentally friendly, sustainable materials.
Thanks to its features such as solar panel system, lithium battery energy storage, compost toilet, and reuse of gray water for irrigation, we have designed an innovative and smart home independent of the grid.
We also wanted to touch upon the pandemic period we are in now. Because now the design of the houses varies accordingly. For example; The feeling of cinema can be created with the help of projection on the upper floor of our house, or the need for open air can be met in the patio that we have created as foldable. In addition, the shutter glass design has the feature of expanding the living space and combining the interior and exterior.
Every furniture we design serves a minimalist and flexible life. These multi-functional flexible furniture, which we produce according to the needs of the user in line with the new life requirements, not only meets the needs of the user, but also allows space saving since it covers more than one function. Users can live without losing their comfort in this design, where we use minimum space and still meet all needs.
