The scenery of beautiful green hills and curvy landscape is the motivation behind this project. I choose Dougherty Hills Trail to be my project's site. It is only a few blocks away from my apartment, which provides the beautiful imagery of green landscape in the spring. During Covid-19, I work from home, with minimal interaction with other people, I often look through my window during work, and I imagine my dream views of my dream house. This competition provides the opportunity for me to express my housing fantasies. Thus, the core value of this project started from there. In a further development, I believe that curving moments in space create a seamless visual effect. With only 400 square feet provided, integrating space articulation to the chosen site and creating sensitivity to space expansion is my main goal. Therefore, I developed a grid system based entirely radially, which eventually applied to my project spatial organization and circulation system.
