We are excited to announce the launch of the Nurture your Creative Health & Wellness DesignClass. We are hoping this class can be a great first step towards designers and creative people to strength their creative health and wellness. Through this journey of personal reflection, participants will build health coping skills and gain a better understanding of the challenges they face as creative students and professionals.
This Wellness class is structured around 5 lessons shared over 5 weeks. Each week’s message will involve fun and engaging activities that will help you connect with each of your 5 senses. All of these topics out of a survey we did with DesignClass members to identify the mental health struggles faced by fellow designers and creatives.
We will look at how procrastination, excessive workload, demotivation, and handling deadlines can be a drain on your creative energy.
The effect of the pandemic on creatives - low productivity, feeling lonely, feeling irritated and frustrated.
This is a big one, analyze how you deal with rejection and tough critiques from colleagues, clients, and even your boss.
Look at overcoming creative block and allowing your creative self to thrive.
We all know that being a creative person can be unfulfilling sometimes. You aren't alone in this, so let's look at how to cope with professional unfulfillment and dissatisfaction and move forward.
You'll learn from leaders who have faced the ups and downs of being a creative professional and how their experience has shaped their outlook on life. Then learn how to apply these lessons to your own life, whether you are just starting off in school or a seasoned veteran.
